Memorable Moments of My Married Life

Almost every woman dreams of getting married to a loving and kind hearted man. When I was young, I too imagined my marriage and thought about what kind of person I would get married to. Luckily I got  the same type of husband as I had wished for. My married life was wonderful and full of joy. However, there are ups and downs in life and our married life also suffered a bit. But amidst these, I gathered some memorable moments that shall remain in my mind and heart for the rest of my life. The first thing I remember is our wedding day. It was one of the most beautiful days of my life. All my friends, colleagues, parents, and everyone whom I could  think of was present on that auspicious day. I was dressed in a gorgeous gown and my husband too looked great in his wedding suit. Amidst wishes and blessings of everyone we got married and I could see my dream come true. 

The next great thing that happened to me after marriage was my child. My husband is a good man, full of energy, humour, love, kindness, and enthusiasm. So living a life with such a person is awesome. But, my excitement further increased when I was pregnant. It was nine months of extreme care that my husband took and my child was born. When my husband and I learned that it was a girl child, our happiness knew no bounds. As it was a baby girl we always wanted to have. That was the moment which will remain in my heart forever.

Another moment I will always remember is the day my daughter went to school for the first time. I could not understand how time flew and my daughter became 3 years old and it was time to get her admitted to a kindergarten school. I can still recall the moment she sat on the school bus and waved her hands out of the window. As a mother, it was a mixed feeling going on inside of me. I was happy that my child was taking her first step towards education and was entering her school life, but a corner of my heart was sad because my child was going away from me for the first time in my life. I knew that it was only a matter of a few hours but still I was sad. 

It has been 18 years of our marriage and another event that I can recall is our 10th wedding anniversary. The 10th wedding anniversary is a milestone in a marriage relationship as not many marriages can reach that milestone. It signifies that we have successfully kept our promises and commitment towards each other for a decade. Nowadays, people can easily store 10th wedding anniversary images for husband or wife with a photo frame editing option in a computer. But in our times ,we had to do it with a digital camera and store pictures in photo albums. However, I have planned to surprise my husband on our 20th wedding anniversary by using our 10th anniversary memories that I had stored. Family

How we live, how we speak, how we communicate, and how we treat others can be displayed through our character. Our character is built by our family members, how we are raised in our childhood is the main factor behind how we are as a person in reality. Since our birth, we must be taught about respecting others, helping others, and taking responsibility in real life. All these things contribute to your overall growth and you become a good human being. Most of the time you live with your family and the major contribution to uplifting moral values comes from the family itself.

We are responsible for all our choices and decisions and we must know how to differentiate between bad things and good things. Good things bring out good results and bad decisions often lead us to troubles. Monica : Rachel , when you go away for work, I get bored as hell! What to do man? I just can’t deal with this separation anxiety from you.

Rachel: I know that Monica, you are a dear friend to me too, I love spending time with you as well, but one of us has to earn for our living. I cannot sit at home and expect money to magically appear in our bank accounts. Why don’t you find a new job for yourself?

Monica: Hey! No need to be snarky Rachel! I know you are working hard for the both of us, affording rent, food, toiletries and what not, but I cannot go back to living in that mechanical way again. My anxieties reach to another level. You know that I need to fulfill my dream of becoming a chef, you know that I cook spectacular food, but no one is ready to give me an opportunity whatsoever. I have tried my best, but I just can’t find anything of my liking.

Rachel : Of course, sitting in pajamas on the couch , stuffing your face with chips, oreos and peanut butter, which is gross by the way and watching dog videos is trying hard. I would love to do such hard work myself.

Monica: Alright, alright! I know I watch too many dog videos, but look how cute are these dogs! Look at them sleeping.

Rachel: I hate to agree with you but this is so cute. I want to squish these pups Monica! Which breed is this?

Monica: I know right? This is Griffon Belge. It originated from Belgium.

Rachel: Hey, I got an idea, why don’t you own a dog, wait a minute, why don’t you own this dog? It is small, cute and cuddly and When he will come to our home, you won’t even realize that I’m not there.

Monica: Nice idea, Rachel. I am so excited to get this puppy at our home, and for sure I will forget you when he comes.

Rachel: Very funny ,Monica. But do you have any information on this breed? I mean what kind of conditions does it need to grow, what kind of food it eats,etc.

Monica: Of course I do.What do you think I do when you’re away for work. Anyway, this cute canine is a part of Gruffon Bruxellois breed. They are available in black, black and tan, blue, red, beige and brown. They are small dogs which grow up to twenty three to twenty six centimetres in height and about three to six kilograms in weight. These dogs were  originally used in stables to catch rats but in the 1870’s it graduated from being a rat dog to a lapdog when Queen Henrietta Maria of Belgium grew a liking for this dog. So, the royal patronage boosted international interest, and Griffs were exported to America and England.

Although these dogs are small in size , but they have huge personalities. They are stubborn , so they do not do anything against their will, and the best part is, that they love to cuddle with their favorite person, which obviously would be me.

Monica: They are intelligent, playful , energetic and they adjust well to the city life. They need to be constantly praised while being trained, also, it is better to train them in an indoor cage(for crate training).
